Whitney Ranch by Guardian Development is north of Dell Range near the intersection of Whitney Rd.
The first phase of development ramped up in 2019 and has a few lots available for purchase. Currently, an array of builders have bought lots, so there has been significant progress made in the subdivision since its conception. The development will have access to all city services and will have paved roads. In total there will be a combination of around 100 new single-family homes, or twin homes. The various builders who have bought lots are doing new construction homes, townhomes, and patio homes. In total the development will be extremely large and will be taking over prairie land along the Northern part of Dell Range and Whitney Rd. It will start with this phase and then take over an additional 540 acres – possibly a ten+ year project in total.
Eastern Cheyenne is most certainly deemed as a sought after area. Even new commercial businesses are sprouting up in the area to serve the customer base now living there. It was interesting how at one-time the portion of the town which is growing quickly, was considered “out of town.” In fact, where Blue Federal Credit Union built its new World Headquarters, where the old Cole Shopping Center was located. This piece of land used to be out of town and now is precisely center. It literally is the new City Center and soon it will be on the Western part with how much Cheyenne is expanding to the East.
Ultimately, the real estate builders and developers are listening to customers and providing developments in areas of the community where folks genuinely want to live. At RE/MAX Capitol Properties, we strongly believe in listening to our customers and we work hard to work with other industry stakeholders to do the same. We are excited about the new homes coming to the community and are looking forward to working with you on your next real estate venture.
