It has been fun to read the answers. There are a variety of responses, some long and some short, some nostalgic and some from people who haven’t been to CFD yet, but the consistent message is that people love Cheyenne Frontier Days! Thunderbirds, funnel cakes, kettle corn, carnival food, Indian Village, bull riding, concerts, tradition, family time, horses, memories, parades, clowns, pancake breakfasts, history, cowboys, queens, lemonade, volunteers and, of course, the RODEO!

If you are visiting Cheyenne, welcome! Cheyenne Frontier Days is one place where old and new come together in an amazing way. You’ll see many historical things in the parade, displays, rodeo events and museums. You’ll see new things like the Thunderbirds, Cinch rodeo, safety measures and carnival rides. You’ll witness an amazing display of volunteerism and community pride during the rodeo, pancake breakfasts and parades. Be sure to watch all the extra happenings during the rodeo like trick riders, clowns, Dandys and Miss Frontier Days. There is something for everyone. Check out the full CFD schedule!
