Stephanie Lopez is a Cheyenne native with a love for its small-town feel.
She grew up as a former Wyoming Student Ambassador, member of Hands in Harmony and the East High School Dance Team, and she has an Associate’s Degree in Homeland Security. Along with spending time with her fur babies and her family, she dedicates a lot of her time volunteering in the community; she is a proud member of Kiwanis. She has six years of experience in customer service, with the last three spent in the Title Insurance Industry as an Escrow and Licensed Title Officer. It was there that she developed a passion for real estate through exposure to a variety of different real estate transactions.
My experience in title insurance will add value in multiple ways. I’m familiar with reading title commitments and can easily answer questions regarding the requirements to make a transaction happen; from access issues to affidavits of survivorship and can help guide them in the right direction in order to get those requirements met. I can read over settlement statements, figures and fees involved in transactions quickly, and easily break them down to clients. I also know a majority of closing docs, including most lender documents so I will be able to prepare clients on what to expect at the closing table, prior to going to the closing table. Last, I have worked on multiple transactions including modular homes, new construction, REO’s and everything in between so I will be able to adapt to each transaction accordingly in order to help my clients succeed in their real estate goals.
I asked Stephanie a few questions recently.
What’s your favorite thing about September?
My favorite thing about September is how the leaves start changing colors which indicates to me that my favorite time of year is coming…Halloween!
What’s the funniest thing you’ve seen so far in your real estate career?
The funniest thing I’ve seen in my real estate career so far was us accidentally losing the massive balloon for our Parade of Homes listing and hoping we didn’t cause any fatal crashes for any aircraft; whether they had wings made of feathers or aluminum.
Do you go to the Farmer’s Market?
I love the Farmer’s Market! I wait every year for the jalapeño jelly and enormous homemade tortillas.
