Meet our newest RE/MAX Capitol Properties team member Amanda!
She was born and raised in northern Colorado. In 2015 her husband’s job brought them to Cheyenne. They have fallen in LOVE with our wonderful community and all that Cheyenne has to offer. They are proud to call Wyoming and specifically Cheyenne home!
Amanda has four kids, Aidan-14, Avarie-12, Addi-9, and Tyler-7. They all love sports and you will usually find Amanda cheering them on at the softball and baseball fields, volleyball court, basketball court, football field, soccer field, and at dance recitals. In their “free time” they love to travel and go camping and boating.
For the last seven years Amanda has been a stay at home mom. Before that she worked in insurance with an amazing State Farm agent who taught her the value of good quality customer service and going above and beyond for your customers. Helping and caring for others is Amanda’s passion. She cannot wait to go above and beyond for YOU in every step of your real estate transactions.
I recently asked Amanda about her summer plans. Here’s what she had to say!
Do you have fun summer plans?
We don’t have much planned this summer since we are trying to get our own house ready to sell and watching our new one being built. Plus with travel baseball and travel softball we stay in hotels every other weekend it seems. We do have one week where Aidan has a baseball tournament in Miles City Montana for the whole week, so we will be up there that week to watch him.
What are your favorite summer hobbies?
I love to garden and plant flowers. Can’t wait until we move to our acreage so we can plant a big garden. We love to camp and go to the lake once baseball/softball is done at the end of July we are going to squeeze in some camping and lake time before school starts. Since we are so busy with sports most weekends we try to hang out at pool weekdays in the summer or ride our bikes on the wonderful Greenway Cheyenne has.
Do you like to do DIY home projects?
Right now I am painting my home to get it ready for the market. Does that count as DIY? My husband is really the home DIY guy as he has finished 2 of our basements completely mostly on his own. He is very handy and has experience with that stuff. I usually just decorate it when he is done. I also do the outside landscaping. When we moved into our current home and our last home there was no landscaping and no bushes or plants. I did both of those myself.
With Amanda you will get excellent customer service, someone who will listen to your needs and wants to achieve the best outcome for you, and she will strive to ensure the process is fun, easy, and stress free!
