A fun aspect of real estate is seeing so many kinds of homes.
The longer you are in real estate, the more you are aware of the community’s history through the homes. When you look at Cheyenne’s growth, you can see houses built throughout the decades and generalize overall amenities within the homes constructed based on this information. In the 1920s a variety of the homes North of Pershing Blvd., were built initially with carriages houses, and they have since been converted into one-car garages. Lately, most of the housing developments have been in Eastern Cheyenne, and as a result, more commercial developments have also populated Eastern Cheyenne recently. South Cheyenne shows a volume of promise with new construction single-family homes, and this is a prime location for those commuting and wanting quick access to I25. Near a variety of the K-12 schools are developments from the 1950s, which feature smaller footprint homes that are great for small families or those looking to downsize. Most of these homes didn’t have fireplaces, which is different from the older homes in downtown Cheyenne. It is fun to know about the different homes, their traits, and their evolution throughout time.
Knowing the details of our community, from the history and the changes over time to the forecasted growth, we can serve our clients immensely. We can help steward them to suitable homes that align with their desires, from individual characteristics of the home to the overall neighborhood vibe and nearby amenities. Our baseline knowledge of the homes throughout the community and what they have to offer will help identify areas of interest for clients quickly. We love the homes in our community because we know the people who have turned these houses into homes throughout the years. Around town, we see our portfolio of work and love that we essentially play a small part in curating the community we love dearly through our work. Homes are a way to unite and bring us together, making real estate fun and exciting.
