The primary reason is, we don’t want you to lose your mind but to have peace of mind. It is time to now jump into our last topic- Selling takes longer.
- Step #1- Figure out financing
- Step #2- Home improvements
- Step #3- Clear the clutter

- Step #5- Selling takes longer
Step #5 – Selling takes longer
Typically it takes longer to sell your home than to buy a home. From the time you find the home you are ready to buy it’ll take approximately 30-40 days to close. When selling your home you have to back out time to get it ready for the market, your agent will have steps to do in order to place it in the market such as pictures, video, staging, etc. and then depending on the current days on market averages, your price and condition of your home, then you’ll have to wait until the right buyer makes an offer. Once your home is under contract to buy, you’ll usually be ready to close on the sale within 30-40 days.
