Reflecting on 2020-21 Real Estate Market

The last few years have been like none other! While the market has been great for residential in particular the last few years because of the high demand and limited supply, it has had its challenges too.

With nominal homes available on the market, there were higher selling prices. What made these prices feasible for buyers was the all-time-low interest rates being offered by lenders and the extensive relocation of those leaving costly markets like California, Oregon or Colorado, and selling their properties there to be cash buyers in our community.

The past two years, the behaviors we have seen in the real estate and finance industry have been unique. As professionals, it has been something fun to navigate, however. We have found that what drives us the most is simply our clients. We love what we do because of who we do it for, and each transaction creates such a priceless experience for us. In addition, our industry is filled with vital partners and experts that help us get our clients from listing to closing. If we haven’t learned anything from the last two years except that people make all the difference, then we are okay with that! As a premier real estate agency in the Cheyenne and Laramie County area, we pride ourselves on having an extensive network. This network motivates us to be the best real estate professionals in the region.

When we reflect on this last year, we have realized more than ever how fortunate we are to do what we do. Our profession is what we love, and no matter the market conditions, we know we can get through anything because we have one another.

Give us a call, 307-635-0303, and let us treat you to coffee. We’d love to talk with you about your market questions and any concerns; plus, we can help you determine the best real estate goals for you!
