Pizza or a Toothache?

pizza

Today is a day of celebration. What are we celebrating? Well, I am glad you asked.

For the optimist, today is National Pizza Day!! Yea!! My girls are happy about that and are hoping for lots of pizza later today.

For the pessimist, today is National Toothache Day!! Very sad day indeed (especially if you are afraid of dentists).

Two choices –

  1. You can celebrate the tasty Italian (not really from Italy) goodness of a round or square crust topped with everything from ham and pineapples, or mushrooms and Canadian bacon (which really isn’t from Canada, eh), or meat lover’s delight, or vegetar…actually, we’ll pass on that one, after all, what’s the point?!
  2. You can celebrate the horribleness of having pain in the mouth that requires you to go see a dentist (again) and pay a lot of money for them to fix what got you there in the first place – too much pizza!

Seriously, choosing a realtor to help you find a home can often fall into one of these two categories. You can celebrate with goodness at the completion of the long transaction, or you can be sad when all the things you thought were going to be done for you are not done. This ends up leaving you with a bad taste in your mouth.

People normally have to go to the dentist because they have not been careful about what they eat. Or, it could be that they have not spent the right amount of time cleaning their teeth and gums.

It is important to not just select the right realtor, but to also take the time to select the right home. After all, picking the right home could end up like eating pizza every day without ever using a toothbrush for years. You are stuck with a mess and the toothaches that come with messes.

When it comes down to it, your realtor can like the home or certain features of the home, BUT do YOU like them enough to live with those features for years? What is important to you in a home? Pick what you like because you will have to pay for what you like.
