As real estate professionals, it is our duty to champion our communities and to make our home a place to enjoy.
We take this job seriously and all around the world we have been faced with a volume of challenges because of the COVID19 pandemic. Businesses have been placed in difficult positions, to the magnitude of closures, layoffs, and full business model adjustments. As a real estate agency, we too have been impacted and it hasn’t been easy.
We want our agents to be with their families during this time and most of all, we want them to be safe and healthy. Being in Wyoming it has been safer to date than largely populated communities around the globe but our economies are all so interconnected. This is something we have learned but it also has put into perspective that this crisis will play a pivotal role in history. Our youth will grow up looking back on this time and perhaps it will frame their lives like the “dust bowl” once did for past generations. It is hard to predict what will come of all of this but I wanted to take a moment to share with you some of our perspectives on the matter.
What we have learned above anything else throughout the pandemic, is how connected we are around the globe and we must work together as one to create a better tomorrow. To witness all the nations work together to foster a solutions for the pandemic is incredible. While uniting under these kinds of circumstances is not ideal, it has been wonderful to see.
Home is where the heart is
Being home more often has allowed us to connect with our loved ones more and enjoy our homes. Our homes are our biggest investment and we don’t get to spend adequate time in them to thoroughly appreciate them. While it hasn’t been easy to be home all of the time, there are so many elements of it that are joyful.
On the horizon is a future where we can continue to work together and we can continue to enjoy the little things. From all of us at RE/MAX Capitol Properties, we wish you good health and a lifetime of amazing memories.
