Merry Mondays wouldn’t be doing it right if we didn’t get to see everyone’s lights!
We love how we can light up the night sky with strand lights and beautiful yard adornments. For many, a tradition is going on the community Trolley that is operated by Visit Cheyenne. They take you around to all of the best light displays in town and provide backstory to why the homes feature what they do.
Reading through the comments for this week’s post, we learned that this year has been challenging. Financially a variety of families have been impacted, but the gift of Christmas lights is they are up for everyone’s enjoyment. You never know who’s spirit will be lifted because you decided to put your tree in front of a window so all could admire and enjoy. The heart of Christmas understands that it may not just be for you and your family’s enjoyment only when you decorate. Your efforts could be making a world of difference for those who couldn’t do the holidays in the same way you got to. Wel love that part of Christmas. It is all about love, compassion, and overall care for others.
It was a good lesson this year for Merry Mondays, and it made us realize that our $200 a week give away can make a significant difference to folks’ holiday. We love that part, and we hope it can spread as much holiday cheer as possible!!! Congratulations to this week’s lucky winner Monisha Primavera. Enjoy your extra cash, and Merry Christmas!
