We are very excited to welcome James (Micky) Fisher to our team at RE/MAX Capitol Properties. Micky comes to us after nearly a decade of serving as a Public Affairs Officer in the Air Force. His excellent people skills and tenacious personality make him an advocate you’ll be confident to have on your side during your next real estate transaction.
Originally from a small town called Yelm in Washington State, Micky decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the US Air Force, the ROTC program at Central Washington University. Graduating with a BA in communication, Micky was commissioned into the Air Force at graduation in 2013. Soon after, he married his wife Bre and over the next nine years they welcomed three children and were assigned to 6 different locations across the country, as well as abroad in Italy.
One of those assignments found the Fisher family in Cheyenne, a city they quickly fell in love with. The simple life, the breathtaking sunsets and the welcoming community had the Fisher family knowing this is where they wanted to call home forever. The slower pace of living meant more time with family and more time to enjoy the important things in life. Micky said he had never seen a military base and local community jive so well, calling the people of Cheyenne true patriots who support their military.
After being assigned twice more to opposite sides of the country, the Fisher family made the decision to transition off active duty and make the permanent move to Cheyenne. Micky now serves in the Wyoming Air National Guard and is excited to help others make this city their home.
When not advocating for his clients or spending time with his growing family, Micky is a self-described “gear head.” His automotive passion led him to create his YouTube channel, “Untamed Motors” and over the last few years he has evolved it into a nationwide broker/negotiation service. Now that Micky is in the real estate world, he launched a new channel named “Untamed Living,” where he talks all things Cheyenne real estate and showcases homes currently on the market. Thanks to his experience in public affairs as well as his continued education, Micky has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to marketing, negotiating, and advocating for others.
