Our newest addition to the team, Jessica Biggs, joins us with 8 years of experience as a Cheyenne real estate agent. Jessica was born and raised in Cheyenne and takes pride in raising her family here. As a Cheyenne native, Jessica has an intimate connection to Cheyenne and loves helping others find their perfect home in this community. I recently asked Jessica a few questions about herself, here’s what she said.
What made you choose real estate and how long have you been in the field? I have been a Realtor for 8 years now. It started with my own dream of wanting to own my own home and how frustrating and scary the process was. I wanted to help others achieve their goals and dreams and make it easier, less stressful. Then add in an unhealthy dose of HGTV and I was hooked on seeing every home and layout and decor style.
Tell me about your family! I have three kiddos. My daughter Siera is 21. She is attending UW and will graduate with her Bachelors’s this spring. Then she has been accepted into Vet school In Arizona. After Vet school she wants to return to Cheyenne and open her own clinic. She also bought her first home just after turning 18 and now uses it for a rental. My youngest son is 14 and an 8th grader at McCormick. He keeps me running with school sports, 4H (Archery and Shotgun), and hunting. He plans on becoming an appraiser and being a Realtor with mom. We also have 2 golden retrievers. Indy and Anna.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Taking Caleb on his first elk hunt. Watching my oldest two working towards their goals and seeing them succeed. Another year to enjoy time with family and friends and make as many memories as possible. Another amazing year of CFD! I have volunteered on contract acts for 8 years now.
What do you and your family do for fun in the area?
We love to head to Curt Gowdy and hike or use the archery trail and paddleboard. We spend a ton of time at the shooting ranges. Attend almost every local Central game to cheer on the Indians. Lots of walks through the parks and dog parks with our pups. One of our favorites is to explore downtown and experience all the local businesses and what they have to offer from food and drinks, shopping, and all the family-friendly places.
What sets you apart from other agents?
Being a Cheyenne Native I know the area, the ins, the outs, the stories. I believe so strongly in what our community has to offer everyone. My dad also served in the Air Force for 24 years. I think the best way to put what sets me apart is my clients turn into friends and friends into family. I’m here for the long haul. Going to weddings, graduations, birthdays, etc.
We think Jessica is a great addition to the team, we are looking forward to a great year with her.
