As we approach the season of thankfulness, and soon after, the season of miracles, we take the time to appreciate what we have, we are especially thankful for the opportunity to help others. Since 1992, RE/MAX agents across the country have raised over $170 million for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, a non-profit organization that raises funds for Children’s Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.
This year, in honor of the RE/MAX Month of Miracles, RE/MAX Capitol Properties Miracle Agents held their second annual smoker raffle in August, raising over $4,200 for CMN Hospitals. Thank you to everyone who participated in the raffle, together we are able to help ensure our local kids have access to the best treatment. Every day, CMN Hospitals treat thousands of children and infants in need of medical assistance. The funds RE/MAX Capitol Properties agents raised this year will go directly to our regional CMN Hospital: Children’s Hospital Colorado. Children’s Hospital Colorado treats thousands of Wyoming children every year, having patients in every single county including over 5,500 patients from Laramie County alone, according to the 2019 patient statistics. With several of our agents’ children having received care there, this cause hits close to home and we know first hand of the excellent treatment Children’s Hospital Colorado provides.
 “Being a miracle agent is important to us for many reasons.” Tammy and John Facemire explained. When our granddaughter was born premature, she spent a long time in the NICU at Children’s Hospital growing, developing, and getting stronger before she was able to come home. “The doctors and staff at that hospital were amazing! Now, she is a beautiful healthy 10-year-old young lady living her best life!” Facemire’s adopted daughter also benefited from Children’s Hospital. “After adopting our daughter Trinity we struggled to get her the mental help she needed to succeed. After moving to Wyoming and being connected with the providers at that hospital we were able to get her the help she needed and the resources have helped her grow and understand herself. She knows there is a huge support system around her.“Â
As the Facemires learn more about the hospital and its services, they find new ways to connect with their clients as they discover many families have a shared experience with Children’s Hospital Colorado.
