Luis Mendoza Spanish Speaking Real Estate Agent in Cheyenne WY

Luis Medoza Cheyenne WY Realtor

RE/MEET Luis Mendoza an agent with RE/MAX Capitol Properties who joined us in the fall of 2017!

His story is fascinating for his young age! Luis moved from Peru when he was 15 year old. He grew up in Lima – Peru/South America. His first language is Spanish and he sees that as a skill for his real estate career. Out of necessity he had to learn English when he moved to Marietta, GA at 15! He spent five years in Georgia learning the English language and was submerged into the culture.  In 2010 he moved to Cheyenne, WY, a place that grew on him and that he now calls home. He enlisted in the Wyoming Army National Guard and served for almost seven years in Security Forces. He served a one year long deployment. Luis gained his United States Citizenship in July 2011. Luis married his wife, Taylor in 2018. They welcomed their son, Greyson, in 2019 and their daughter, Lella, in 2022! He believes all of this life experience makes him an excellent problem solver.

Luis was recently interviewed by Emma Stone for an article in Cheyenne Living Magazine! The section of her article that highlighted for me the true spirit of Luis and Taylor with their family was this:

Both Luis and Taylor enjoy giving back to the Cheyenne community that has given them so much. Luis sits on the board of directors for Support Our Students – formerly Adopt A Child, which for the holiday season, cares for 1500 kids and 500 seniors. During the pandemic, both partnered with Corey of Lynn Buys Houses, and Alf, presented checks to small businesses to keep the doors open with Small Business is the Heart of Cheyenne. As a donation-based idea, the group raised over $85,000 to keep the doors and lights open downtown while we sheltered in place.

With his vast experience of living in different countries and locations, it was important to Luis to align with the #1 global brand in real estate, RE/MAX LLC. He goes to the international RE/MAX convention most years in Las Vegas where he is able to meet agents from Peru and many other areas. This keeps him connected to his life in and outside of Wyoming, a true global network.

Luis Mendoza Cheyenne WY Realtor

I asked Luis, what some of his beliefs are for his career as a realtor in Cheyenne WY and he told me, “I started my sales habit at the age of ten, selling at my parents hardware store and always offering great customer service. I have continued rising early, which I believe translates to success in all areas of life!” He further shared, “Five qualities my clients can count on from me are love, integrity, commitment, passion, and fun.”

Coming from another country home ownership is a big deal! Viniedo de otro pais, ser dueno de tu casa propia es un gran logro. Luis is a family man with devotion to God, his wife, children, parents and entire family. Traveling is his passion, it allows him to meet new people, experience new places, and learn new cultures. He loves Cheyenne summers, attending local events, supporting local charities, running outdoors, barbecuing, and hosting get-together events with family and friends.

He uses his experience and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. His knowledge on buying, flipping, maintaining, and managing real estate helps him with the communication in every detail of a transaction, from the first phone call to closing day.

Luis always enjoys helping others; he did it as a veteran and continues as a real estate agent in Cheyenne, Wyoming today! If you are looking for a Cheyenne realtor to buy a residential property, new construction home, townhome or land, then give Luis a call or visit him online. He is ready to guide you through the process!

Great Story Luis. I was born in the USA, but my first language was Spanish as well. Born in my grandfather’s “happy home” as he called it, without electricity, running water nor in door toilet. Congratulations on what you have accomplished and I know that you future is bright. Ann
