Steve and I are co-campaign chairs for United Way this year. We sincerely are lucky for the opportunity to serve the United Way of Laramie County in this way!
United Way is unique because it is a way to invest in organizations who are local. Also by providing funds to United Way of Laramie County, the recipient of your hard earned funds are invested wisely through a vetting process provided by a community of volunteers, like you and me. United Way of Laramie County does so much for us all, because they support a vast number of non-profits covering so many areas of need. From domestic violence victim support, to our youth and healthcare solutions, they tackle issues which affect us all. We are truly lucky to have such a giving community and one that is filled with worthwhile organizations like United Way of Laramie County.
Please take a moment to pass on a token of gratitude to the United Way of Laramie County with a donation and make a lasting impact. If we each give a little it will help a lot. The requests we receive are close to $2 million and we received just shy of $1 million in 2017 donations. Imagine, if 15,000 of us in Laramie County each gives $100, then we’ll have $1.5 million in 2018 donations! We can’t rely on “someone else” to serve our community, we have to do it together. Start today with a donation, thank you.
