Libraries are our community’s core

Libraries are an essential part of communities and are the great equalizers.

Annually the Laramie County Library Foundation hosts the “Booklovers Bash” to raise funds for programs that are not covered by taxes. Proceeds help sustain programming and improve overall experiences at the library, and each year, a different Author is a keynote. This year in time for Halloween we’ll hear tales from actual dig sites, from Kathleen and Michael Gear! This dynamic duo will thrill you with stories of their award winning archeological fiction! Tickets are still available for THIS FRIDAY, October 21, 2022! As the library recommends, DIG DEEP to support your community library! Buy your tickets at https://lclsonline.org/bash/ today!

If you have not yet visited the library in Cheyenne, make sure to do a visit – 2200 Pioneer Ave. It is worthwhile and genuinely has something for everyone. Additionally, suppose you are already a supporter. In that case, we ask that you consider contributing to the Library Foundation to help make sure the programs remain accessible and excellent. To learn more here is a link to their various branches and hours of operation.

Steve and Stephanie Prescott, owners of RE/MAX Capitol Properties, choose the library as a key focus for their community giving. Stephanie has been on the Library Foundation’s Board of Directors for the last five years.
