We are curious about what will come to the King Soopers Shopping Center because of all the recent closures and relocation.
Spooners recently closed, and so did the Union Wireless in the shopping center. The corner spot was Starbucks and this location relocated to the Dell Range Blvd. drive-thru. The whole eastern portion of the commercial center is needing new life and we are curious what will come to the area. This shopping center is very important to the area with the grocery store, gas station, Hallmark, and BLUE Federal Credit Union, just to name a few. There are many homes and developments near by, so we chatted with a few of the neighboring residents. They shared their wish-list and here it is:
- More Food: A restaurant that is family friendly would be ideal in this location because of the number of families in the area.
- More Things-To-Do: There are lots of activities for families to enjoy in downtown Cheyenne with the Civic Center, the Atlas, Flydragon Design Studio and Graffitos to name a few, so offering a fun business that offers activities for families would be a great addition.
- Mom & Pop: Having smaller local boutiques and services like a bakery would be nice to have in East Cheyenne.
What do you think would be a good fit for the area?
