#GivingTuesday, It’s a thing!

You have Black Friday, Shop Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and the best one, #GivingTuesday!

#GivingTuesday is more than just purchasing. It’s a movement. #GivingTuesday is focused on supporting local charities and non-profit organizations. It is the day these entities can refrain from “asking” for support because they are the focus! Celebrate these organizations by giving back to them on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. They do so much for our community; what a wonderful gift to reciprocate! Send a donation to these institutions and help them raise funds for their local causes or even stop to say “Thank You” for your work. #GivingTuesday is about giving back and providing support to those who do it best! Who will you be giving to?

At RE/MAX Capitol Properties we are genuinely proud to support ways to improve our community culturally, environmentally and believe in supporting causes that have a lasting impact. Being a great military town, we work hard to support our local armed forces. This last year we were fortunate to support FE Warren‘s Spring Carnival, Frontier Cade and Trick or Treat off the Street.  We believe in our fellow businesses and organizations, having the privilege to work with the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce and strengthening our local economy. We have also been fortunate to be able to make lasting partnerships. With Blue Federal Credit Union we helped to support the Community Shred Day. Another partnership is Steve’s & my role as co-campaign chairs for United Way. This organization branches out and helps 25+ charities. Their motto is “give a little and help a lot.” Our, RE/MAX Capitol Properties, business philosophy is to be present and play an active role in building a better community. We do this by supporting those who do it best! It is amazing what these organizations can do and what they can accomplish. I proudly serve on the Laramie County Library‘s Board of Directors. Contributing at this level opens your eyes to what great leadership strides are made to create the Cheyenne we know. #GivingTuesday is all about celebrating these non-profit organizations and the people who make it happen. We appreciated the opportunity to be a part of their journey this year and cannot thank them enough!
