Don’t Fall for a Look Alike

National Look Alike Day is observed annually on April 20th.  This day was created as a fun day to look like another person.  Do you already look like someone?  We often hear the words, “You remind me of someone,” or “You look just like so and so.”  If so,  then you are one step ahead of the game.  One of the most famous “look-alikes”  is Elvis Presley, “The King of Rock-N-Roll.”

A little known fact is that when I was born, I actually had hair. Lots of it. Jet black and enough to have brushed back over my head. I had enough hair that the nurses gave me the nickname of Elvis. Unfortunately, the black hair and the LOTS of it didn’t stick around for long. With pictures to prove it, in the next 3 years, my hair turned red, then went white blonde. Now, half a century later, I wish I still had enough hair to style, much less be able to do a comb-over like Elvis had.

In this day and age, there are many “look alikes” who try to sell real estate. Some are interested in being the best no matter what the cost. Others try to look like some of the big names in real estate across the US. These look alikes though can cost you a great deal of time and money if you are not working with the real thing.

Selling a home is not easy, nor is the process of buying a new home. Calling an agent who works FOR you and not against you is crucial. In fact, it is critically important to make wise decisions in making the right choice in choosing the right real estate office and the right agent.

While the national day was created to be fun, don’t fall for a “look alike.” There are agents, there are good agents, but there are also GREAT agents. One end of the spectrum just wants a commission, but the other end of the spectrum will do whatever it takes to HELP you and your family make wise decisions.

Call me today and let a GREAT agent help you move into the future.
