Daniel Blaney is joining the RE/MAX Capitol Properties agency, and we could not be more excited.
Daniel was raised on a family ranch where he learned the value of hard work and land stewardship. After high school, he joined the Wyoming Air National Guard. Serving his country and community was his primary motivator for this decision in his career. With the Guard’s support, he attended Northwest College in Powell, WY, earning his Associate Degree in Agricultural Business. While in college, he worked for the largest hay producer in Park County and honed his business and land management skills on-the-job. With his passion for stewardship of the land and his business background, he decided to get into real estate, where he could marry those two passions.
“As your realtor, I will be honest, hard-working, and provide the best care and service towards you and your property.” shared Daniel Blaney.
Here is more information about Daniel and why you may want to have him as you’re selected, real estate professional:
1.Why real estate?
Real estate has always been a part of my life coming from a ranching family, and we dealt in the property for business and personal reasons. From leasing to buying, I learned a great deal of what to look for in property from a business standpoint. While in college, I worked for a couple of ranches mentoring under some excellent businessmen. The first place I worked for was the Black Summit Cattle Company, located in Ralston, Wyoming. This is where I became a real estate agent since the owner Quin Lafollett had two title companies and was a broker in the Bighorn Basin. He showed me that you could sell land and lease it for running cows after the sale. The second place I worked for was B Slash Ranch in Frannie, Wyoming, which is the largest hay producer in Park County, Wyoming. I learned a great deal of business in hay production, cattle, and land management while working with Russ Boardman. With a personal desire for stewardship of the land, I could see the potential of fulfilling this opportunity by getting into real estate.
2. What skills do you bring to the profession?
My friendly personality and networking skills allow me to create a library of contacts that will help me sell real estate. With my business mindset and attention to detail, I can understand and communicate clearly to sellers and buyers.
3. What Fall Activity do you enjoy most?
I have two fall activities that I love no what the weather is like outside—anything with cow work from gathering pairs off mountain leases, preconditioning, preg checking, and weaning. The second fall activity I love is hunting because of the beautiful places you see around Wyoming. I genuinely love loading up a string of horses and heading to the backcountry of Wyoming, setting up a big camp 15 miles from the truck, and hunting elk and deer from horseback.
