Cheyenne Business Celebration!

Cheyenne WY Business Expo RE/MAX cheyenne real estate

Business doesn’t have to be all work and no play!

Every year the Chamber of Commerce brings the local businesses together for an Expo and learning luncheons. For the last four years DAPCPA has been the presenting sponsor and we have had the opportunity to be a Silver Sponsor.

Several of our team members enjoyed the Circle of Champions Luncheon on Tuesday and the Expo later that evening. It was open to the public for FREE! Many people stopped by our booth to play the games, get a prize and to say hello! Thank you to Tara Nelson, Adri True, Kevin True, Christina Walton, Tyler Walton, Michael Turner and Steve Prescott for attending the luncheon. Thank you to Rebecca Hess, Kourtney Mits, Amie Carlson, Michael Turner, Amanda Draegert, Sharla Evans, Adri True, Kevin True, Janelle Parrish, Luis Mendoza and Tara Nelson for hosting a “funtastic” booth!

Economic Forecast Luncheon was held on Thursday with a focus on the Laramie County Housing needs and outlook. As business professionals and Cheyenne real estate professionals this topic is near and dear to our hearts. We must stay informed and prepared for the future. Currently we have the lowest unemployment rate in history at 3.7% for Wyoming. We have close to 300 properties for sale in Laramie County when the market could use closer to 1000 homes for sale. Laramie County weathers the boom and bust cycles better than the rest of Wyoming because we have a more diverse economy with the State government housed in Cheyenne, FE Warren AFB, Microsoft, oil and gas development, Laramie County Community College, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and agriculture.

The week is a wrap. It was informative and fun. Thank you to everyone who made it possible! We’ll see you next year!
