We were so excited to welcome to the neighborhood Central Cafe when they opened.
For those of you who know where we are, you know that you can pull right up to Central Cafe upon turning on 7th Ave. We are located at 4000 Central Ave. Believe us when we say, it is nice to have a cafe as nice as Central Cafe next door. It opened in February of 2018, it has been two years already! What do we love about it? Well, we love that they offer a fun, unique and healthy menu. That isn’t something you find every day. We love that they improved the value of our business and neighborhood by renovating the old mechanic/gas station and we love that they even host on occasion a happy hour with wine and beer.
If you haven’t gone inside of Central Cafe then you need to take a moment to do so. Walking in you see a mixture of the modern with the industrial feel with the exposed brick on the interior walls but a flash of elegance with the fun textures adorning the counter of the cafe. You can select from some quick-serve items in the refrigerated case or handpick your entree and gourmet beverage for a minor wait. They will give you a number and bring out your order once ready. The coolest part is looking over the self-serve table featuring sugar and stir-sticks to find the canvas featuring what the building looked like before the renovation. The history can be reflected on but more importantly how far the establishment has come can be acknowledged! It is beautiful.
