Buyers Are Back In The Market!

In 2022 we saw the real estate market go from gold to gone!

Fast forward to 2024 and home buyers have their confidence back. They are looking for homes to buy now! Join Steve Prescott in his latest market update video why you should sell your home in the next 90 days if you are considering a move.

February 2024 Laramie County Real Estate Market Update

We have had a strong rebound in the Cheyenne housing marketing over the last couple of months. In January 90 homes sold and the average days on the market was 60. In February we saw the number of residential homes for sale in Cheyenne drop below 300! This has created a multiple offer scenario for many sellers. With the Cheyenne, Wyoming population growing and the interest rates taking a small dip, it isn’t surprising. Living in Wyoming has been a dream for many people and they are now making it happen.

You may be thinking, Why Cheyenne?

We have many people from Northern Colorado making the choice to move to Cheyenne and then commuting to work in NoCo. So, if you find yourself questioning if you should, “sell my home in Cheyenne,” and you are prepared to make a move, then the answer is yes! Now is a great time to consider selling your home due to the low inventory of properties on the market with a higher number of buyers than we have seen for the past year. And, we are hoping to see the interest rates take another slight decline in April or May. That will allow additional buyers to get back into the home buying mindset.

We’ll be happy to show you all the top properties in Cheyenne and the surrounding area that fit your dreams, budget and needs for you and your family! Give us a call today to get started on selling your home or moving to Cheyenne!
