Congratulations to our Tara Nelson for her volunteerism and servant leadership.

We wanted to take this opportunity to revisit the special recognition of our very own Tara Nelson, who received the Chamber Spirit Award during the last Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet. This is a special recognition because at RE/MAX Capitol Properties we pride ourselves on being an active community member. This is only made possible through our staff and agents caring deeply about exercising our values day to day. Our agents and employees are heavily involved in local organizations and non-profits because we enjoy building a community we love. Therefore it is an incredible honor to provide our employees the opportunity to be invested in the community and building a better home for us all through volunteerism. It is rare to find passionate and highly dedicated volunteers like Tara; therefore, we could not agree more with this honor.

The award is especially important because it demonstrates our agency's alignment with developing a thriving community since she is recognized for her involvement on a Chamber of Commerce Committee. Tara participates on the Red Carpet Committee. It is comprised of business professional volunteers who help learn about new or expanding businesses in the Laramie County and Cheyenne area, and help steward awareness throughout the area. Sometimes businesses invest in improvements and deserve to be celebrated for these facade changes or updates.

The Red Carpet Committee will select recipients for the " Beautification Award " traveling sign. Being a part of an organized group celebrating community is truly rewarding and one reason why we love that Tara and other agents at RE/MAX participate. As a real estate brokerage, we find it important to stay informed about what is happening in the community. We like to share our insights and help use this platform to celebrate the accomplishments of our builders, developers and clients. Tara models the ideal volunteer and community member, and this recognition is a great start to elevating the best of the best.
