Wing Shack in Cheyenne has earned a top spot on our favorites list here at REMAX Capitol Properties.
Wing Shack started in 2004 in a small shack in Garden City, Colorado, and grew into a regional chain across Northern Colorado before opening in Cheyenne in 2017. The Cheyenne location transitioned its business to a multi-state one, and we are so happy they decided to take the leap. It sits at 1439 Stillwater Ave near the Dell Range corridor, making it an easy stop if you are already out running errands in that part of town. Plus, the big news is the recent purchase of the Godfather's Pizza location off of Yellowstone. Wing Shack has been growing in Southeast Wyoming and North Colorado. The wing business is in high demand, and the expansion of a second location offering more space to gather and enjoy the company of patrons will be a welcome new opportunity for this part of Cheyenne, where most nearby options are fast-food chains like Taco John's and McDonald's.
Wing Shack uses fresh, never-frozen wings, cooked to order with the right crispiness. You can go bone-in or boneless, and both are excellent. The sauce lineup is where they really shine, with handcrafted options ranging from a kid-friendly mild to the fiery Bear Hot, all made in-house from original recipes. Prefer a dry rub? They have a variety to choose from. Plus, you can dip into their creamy ranch or blue cheese. Steve loves mixing hot sauces on traditional bone-in wings, and the staff is happy to customize your order however you like.One thing Steve always recommends: the shishito peppers. They are flash-fried, tossed in garlic salt, and completely addictive. Order them as a starter alongside your wings. The menu also goes well beyond wings, with fresh salads, handhelds, and chicken nuggets all cooked to order. There is something for everyone, even the picky eaters. And if you are feeding a crowd, Wing Shack offers catering for game day watch parties, special events, or anything in between. Skip the failed casseroles and bring wings instead.
