Mike Thorpe

I am well-versed in real estate, with 15 years of experience under my belt. I am a decorated United States Marine Veteran. I was wounded in combat while serving as a Marine in Iraq, this experience led to my passion for helping veterans as a Veterans Advocate and I believe its made me more compassionate when working with others.

My wife and I moved to Cheyenne after knowing we wanted to start a family. I am from Los Angeles and my wife from New York, we knew neither of those cities were a good fit for us, so we got to work researching where we wanted to go. Cheyenne checked more boxes for us than anywhere else in the country. Now that we have been here for a while we can attest that we absolutely love it.

I have been in real estate for 15 years and have done residential throughout. I picked up commercial through the years and still do both to this day. I have done flips, ground-up construction, and remodels as well. I have worked with many investors through the years to help them on the real estate side. Working with investors and on the commercial side has helped me with residential because I just don’t see buying and selling a home as a one time occurrence, but rather as a piece to a larger wealth building puzzle. My background helps me to see multiple aspects of every deal.
